- Tuition Reinvestment Bursaries
This initiative has been introduced to help students suffering from financial crisis. An amount of $1,500 is given to students who demonstrate financial need. This payment is made through the fees received by undergraduate, graduate and students of professional programs. The number of awards to be handed out are not per-determined.
To be eligible for the program the students must have a GPA in excess of 2.0, admission average in excess of 65% and full-time enrollment in any program. To apply for the program the students are required to fill out an application form. The decision reached is informed to the applicant within 2-3 weeks. The deadline for the winter cycle of this program is set at December 15, 2022.
- University of Calgary International Entrance Scholarships
This is an entrance scholarship given out to undergraduate students. It is valued at $15,000 and is renewable for up to 4 years. A total of 2 awards are to be given out under the scheme. Renew-ability is ensured if the student maintains a GPA in excess of 2.6 over 24 units. In addition to that the student is required to be a constant differential tuition fee payer. The award is given out on the basis of academic merits.
